Melissa is a classically trained fiddler with a degree in Music Education from the University of Maine. She has taught in Maine public schools and performs with Jerks of Grass, Cumberland Crossing, and Sugar Hill Stringband. She co-directs the New England Fiddle Ensemble and runs Fiddleheads Acoustic Jam Camp. Melissa teaches privately in Scarborough and hosts a welcoming bluegrass jam.
